Wilco Hekkert

Engineering & Operations Manager and Executive Consultant, both for half of my career. Based in the Eastern part of the Netherlands and a true global citizen.Down to earth and pragmatic by nature. I’ve been working throughout the global industrial space for over 24 years in a variety of roles.
Started my career as a mechanical engineer within manufacturing industry delivering a significant number of design-, build- and overhaul projects resulting in new production technologies and increased factory output. Established several global corporate improvement programs as Strategic Business Consultant/Account Manager for over the last 12 years supporting senior directors and managers to achieve their strategic business objectives. I’ve developed a strength in designing realistic business strategies and translating them into a set of working practices than can be applied or implemented for all organizational levels.
My experience in a variety of roles enables me to think and act from out of different perspectives and to connect all dots between Processes, Organization, Methodologies, Technology and Behavioural aspects. Balancing all these and helping people to work in their core talents and strengths.
